Unfair Love

I loved u with my heart and soul,
Trusted u for whatever u told;
“My dear letting u go??? I won’t”,
Those were the words that u once unfold.

Memories embeds that day in my mind,
When u went away leaving me behind;
Promises were broken, but u didn’t mind,
And I wonder can love be so blind???

The sweet tender kisses, those hugs that were so firm,
The way u embraced me in your stiff arms;
U stole my heart with all your charms,
The lovey-dovey talks and their warmth.

I then have not realised, your sweet little lies,
Will be the reason of my unstoppable cries;
To become the girl, u so wished I tried,
To find the old U who was mine.

My heart was broken, my world fallen apart,
But who bothered that I was even hurt;
Cause for your leaving was still unheard,
Who then knew I was just a time pass.

Things I wanted to cherish forever,
Became the reason of my nightmare;
I loved u and for u I cared,
And your love for me was so unfair.

Change

As I sit by my window pane, analyzing the things, the situations, the people I come across every day, some new some old I realize Heraclitus saying that “Change is the only constant in Life”. Indeed it is, time changes from good to bad and vice versa, priority in life changes, people change from somebody u know to somebody u knew, even your shadow changes throughout the day.

Change is the only thing that life guarantees you about and this very Change can sometimes be a reason of fear or a reason for hope.

I recently read an article that mentioned “Change is always occurring. The trick is to become aware of change as it happens and channel it in a way that serves your purpose. As you awaken to this fact of life, you can consciously begin moving with the unique flow of your life, riding the wave that’s rolling in just for you; or you can continue trying to make your own waves, in the same old fashion, and continue getting the same old results.”
So perhaps the better way to deal with change is to embrace it.
It is a well known fact that HUMANS are RESISTANT to CHANGE. But the point is when we know that it is inevitable then why do we try too hard to resist it? Instead we should try and learn to live the change. Enjoy the change when something good is taking place and when things change for worse we should learn to handle it, learn to take charge of situations and continuously strive to improve it, try and try until and unless we succeed, because in reality life isn’t a fairy tale at all. Infact, this adds a different kind of thrill to life. To be always on your toes to face life as it comes.
Change also often lets you to re-evaluate your life. It gives you a broader perspective about life and its issues. It often changes the way we see at certain things, this in turn also helps us to improve certain areas of our life. Infact, learning to accept change and face them makes us stronger day by day.
As I now conclude this small piece of write-up, I would mention that change happens and we should learn to deal with it. After all it adds a certain kind of spice to our otherwise dull and boring life. And more over, as someone rightly said, if there are no changes there won’t be any butterflies either.
Friends Forever and Ever

Going through our pictures and down the memory lane;
Remembering those secrets and the Promises we made.

Thought of jotting few words on my note, for those gals who matters a lot;
But nothing seemed to rhyme, No word sounds so right.

Recollecting the thrill, the joy and the fun we shared;
The ups and downs when we were together.

We fought like crazies for time and ever;
But always there to count on each other.

Our bond is irreplaceable, Our friendship, inseparable;
Cannot thank you less for the moments unforgettable.

Now time played the traitor and distances made us apart;
But our hearts are still closer and so we – “the friends forever”.

Love at First Flight

“Hey you! Did you left your eyes at home” frowned an angry Tania.
“Chill gal, I guess u bumped on to me with your heap of bags” replied Rajeev in a calm tone accompanied with a sarcastic smile.

That’s how Rajeev & Tania met on their rush to catch the first flight of the day departing from Delhi International Airport to Bangalore.

Rajeev the only son of a Bangalore based business tycoon who after completing his MBA abroad returning to India to take care of his father’s business has landed in Delhi from where he will catch the flight to Bangalore.

Tania on the other hand hails from an upper middle class family but shares a disturbed relationship with her parents which in turn have made her a bit sour. It’s the marriage reception of her one and only friend and best friend Raima which is to held in Bangalore as Raima’s in-laws are there.

So after that short and sour met they parted their ways to get the check-ins done and get the boarding passes. But destiny had something else in store for them.

Rajeev after getting the boarding pass went to the food court to feed his hungry stomach. Tania was there in the same court to get a coffee. And again there comes Scene-2, Tania turned and again “clash”, there goes Tania’s coffee into Rajeev’s Brown-Benetton shirt.

Rajeev :“Woah! My Shirt dint asked for extra colour”
Tania :“Do u have any problem with your eye sight”
Rajeev  : “Its you again? But…”
Tania: “Watever” (and walks away)

Rajeev boarded the flight looking for his seat 25B and hold on there is Tania seated in 25A……”DESTINY”

Rajeev murmured: “Not Again” while taking his place in his seat
Tania: What you are doing here?
Rajeev: Well, it’s my seat I Guess

Tania looking irritated turned towards the window and Rajeev got his earplugs on
After 15 mins, Rajeev noticed Tania chanting prayers, unable to control his curiosity,

Rajeev: Hey Gal…… you ok???
Tania: Shhh!
Rajeev: Why are you murmuring hymns???
Tania: M praying
Rajeev: Reality Check: We are in a plane and not in a temple Miss
Tania: Plz shut up!
Rajeev: I will, if you can just keep your volume a bit low so that I can sleep
Tania: Can’t
Rajeev: Huh???
Tania: My first time (With childlike innocence)
Rajeev: Are you scared that you will get thrown out of the window or the plane will crash?
Tania: Stop scaring me
Rajeev: Chill, its fine………lets divert the topic. Where r u from?

Tania always kept herself aloof. She preferred her loneliness more than getting friendly with others. But at the moment talking to Rajeev seemed the best way out to get over her fear.

Tania: Hi, Delhi
Rajeev: Ah! Rajeev not Delhi
Tania: Huh???
Rajeev: Nevermind so???
Tania: So????
Rajeev: When someone tells his name, he expects the same from you
Tania: Tania
Rajeev: You were quite angry at me an hour back.
Tania: Ok
Rajeev thinking : “Strange Gal”
Rajeev: Bangalore for?
Tania: Wedding
Rajeev: Congrats
Tania: Not mine, Friend’s
Rajeev: Ok, seems like m interviewing you…… you cn also ask me
Tania: I don’t know
Rajeev: Hmmm????
Tania: You can tell me about you
At this Rajeev introduced himself and his purpose of boarding the flight.
After hearing everything, Tania replied: ok
Rajeev: Are you generally so cold or it’s a special occasion today???
Tania: Sorry???
Rajeev: Never mind

A moment of silence existed between the two.

Rajeev: Are you disturbed or something? If you want you can share with me. No harm sharing with a stranger…..
Tania: My parents don’t love me. They always scold, scream and shout at me. I envy others whose parents love them so much
Rajeev: Love must be there. They do love you may be they are unable to show it. May be u saw that they shout at you but you are unable to see their love for you. May be you also reciprocated the same way and this in turn have created scope for much negative things.
Have you ever tried to know why they shout at you. May be its for your own good. But, perhaps you are too rude to acknowledge their love. U say they don’t love you, but have u ever told them how much you love them? Perhaps not…..

No one ever said these to Tania or perhaps she never tried to listen to anyone else before this so carefully. Somewhere Tania felt Rajeev is right.

Rajeev: Feels I m right???
Tania: Was I thinking so loudly???
Rajeev: Well, so when the plane lands, u cn always try to give them a call and say that u love them. This may change things for good

Tania who was too adamant to understand or accept her mistake or listen to others, for the first time listened to a stranger perhaps she received some positive vibes from Rajeev and every word of his seem so correct to her.

After the flight landed, Tania did exactly what Rajeev asked her to. However things started to take a turn for good for Tania after that day.

While in Raima’s wedding, Tania met Rajeev again as he was a friend of the groom, they exchanged numbers that day.

All these while before their second meet in the wedding, none of them can get each other out of their mind.
While in Bangalore they did met a couple of times before Tania left for Delhi.

But they have been in contact through phone calls. After few months, when Rajeev arrived in Delhi to surprise Tania. He called her up for a cup of coffee. Tania and Rajeev by now know what is it that existed between them. Tania came with her favourite white Shirt and blue jeans. Rajeev was standing there waiting for her in his black trousers and an army print shirt.

While Tania was sipping her coffee, Rajeev suddenly bent on his knees and confessed his heart to Tania

“Would you like to be the part of rest of my life?” Rajeev said

It is a definite YES coming from Tania.

Soon with the consent of everyone, they got married and built their own small home and lived happily with each other accepting each other at their best and the worst.

The Girl

In a place not so far,
There once born a baby girl.
She was her daddy’s little princess;
And her mom’s doll - the cutest.

As the years slowly fade,
She grew up into a lovely maid.
With hopes filled in her eyes,
Wishing to live her own life.

To chase the dreams of her desires,
She came in to the world so fierce.
Where resides inhuman souls;
People in whom devil rules.

Exploited, insulted, crushed she was;
By the demons of the modern world.
The once bloomed flower have withered now;
And lost the innocence, charm and glow.

Crying, sobbing all day long,
Wondering why all went wrong!
Is she not a human at all?
Or she is a girl was that her fault???

An Angel

True, I believe angels exist,
For God has bestowed me with one;
She who brought me to this earth,
And I use to call her ‘Mom’.

She followed me when I crawled,
And taught me how to walk.
She is my first teacher,
Who taught me alphabets and numbers.

When situations were against me,
She was there to protect me;
She trusted me when others have not,
She has always been mine life support.

Life indeed is full of troubles,
So, God gives us one of his angels;
Who look after all our needs,
And guides us through all thick and thins.

I can thank God nonetheless,
For he has sent me one of his best;
An angel in disguise,
Who defined my life.

Farewell

From different places that we dwell,
We came here knowing nothing well.

Distances vanished with passing time,
“Friends” is the term by which we are defined.

We are not related, no blood relation do we hold;
But still there exists, an invisible bond.

We fought and we laughed,
We tried and some even cried.

We stood up for each other,
In times needed, like broken never.

Two years passed like a soothing breeze,
The memories that are left, we will always miss.

As the time to bid “Farewell” comes by,
Here I am now, to bid u good-bye. J

The Friend - U R

Someone who is so dear,
A friend u r to treasure;
With u I share my joy & tear,
With u things often gets funnier.

Mood swings are common to ur nature,
But u got a heart of gold that matters.
We shout, we scream and bitch together,
But In hard times u left me never.

I am glad that I found u here,
In a world with people who are so unfair;
Things may change and we may not see each other,
But I promise to be ur friend forever J

I am not perfect but I am not bad

I know I’m not perfect,
And I have my own flaws;
But I m just like you and her,
M just a simple girl.

I stupidly keep blabbering,
At times I get annoying;
But that’s not what I intend,
I wish u to understand.

Some even think m dumb,
Thought as irritating by some;
But I also have a heart,
This also gets hurt.

Sometimes I get angry,
For no reason I do shout;
But m not bad tempered,
My Life a bit disturbed.

I may not be a beauty,
Nor a queen of hearts;
I m just being me,
I wish a prince to like me.

I do laugh a lot,
I do make funny jokes;
But I also do cry at times,
In the silence of the night.

I have been many times judged,
I have also been misjudged;
But don’t presume me to be what you thought,
I am not that bad and wrong.

Childhood

I wish I could go back again,
To the days when I was young;
Where we played in the lonely streets,
And often one got hurt.

I wish I could go back again,
To the days of those common attire;
Where going school means meeting friends,
And coming home means home-works.

I wish I could go back again,
To the days when weekends were so special;
Where Sundays meant morning - plays,
And mid-day cartoon fare.

I wish I could go back again,
To the days when I was young;
Where life was so simple,
And tensions were far apart.

Now that I am grown up,
Heaps of worries pile up;
Life got complex with passing time,
And often difficult to admire.

I wish I could go back again,
To the days when I was young;
Where life was full of fun and joyous
And friends - honest & fair.

Life - It's funny

Gloomy and Sunny,
Two ways of a day;
Synonym with life's,
Constant struggle for survival.

We cry and We laugh;
We are disposed and We are adorned;
We are hated and again loved;
That's life's funnier part.

At times, u love life,
At times, u wanna die;
Guided by situation,
That's funny of our emotion.

Life gives u goose-bumps;
Life makes u feel contended;
Life is termed as confusing;
But, life indeed is funniest.

Love You

The day we met for the first,
‘Strangers’…………that’s what we were just.
We didn’t knew each other,
And bothered to know never.

I, then, have not realised,
As I m God’s one favourite child,
U r an angel sent to me,
And so he made us to become ‘WE’.

U slowly became my life’s part,
Ur thoughts ruled my mind and heart.
Now, I know, that I love you so,
And I would never let you go.

Love- A Feeling

Love- A feeling unexpressed,
Its a desire to hold someone’s hand.
It’s the strength that makes us stand,
Through all the odd times we had.

Love- An affection untold;
In every mother’s care its hold,
Its in being with someone dear,
Its in sharing a friend’s tear.

Love-  A blessing in disguise,
Neglecting it, is never so wise.
It’s a reason to laugh and try,
Can’t break hearts and make u cry.

Love-  The strongest weapon of all,
Can conquer all the hatred among.
Let it free and spread around,
To make this planet a better world.

Miss U Always

Neither u said that u were going,
Nor u said bye-bye;
One dark day left away
And I even don’t know why!

Everytime I needed u,
I turned back and looked for u;
Long before u were gone,
Leaving me all alone

A thousand times I cried for u,
A million times I miss u;
I just wish u would have been here,
Then life would have been an easy affair

Prayers didn’t worked for u,
Love can’t even save u,
Luck didn’t favoured us
What an odd hour it was!

I loved u when u were alive,
I love u more when u are gone;
If I can bribe God next life,
U would be my Dad once more.
