Change
As I sit by my window pane, analyzing the things, the situations, the people I come across every day, some new some old I realize Heraclitus saying that “Change is the only constant in Life”. Indeed it is, time changes from good to bad and vice versa, priority in life changes, people change from somebody u know to somebody u knew, even your shadow changes throughout the day.
Change is the only thing that life guarantees you about and this very Change can sometimes be a reason of fear or a reason for hope.
I recently read an article that mentioned “Change is always occurring. The trick is to become aware of change as it happens and channel it in a way that serves your purpose. As you awaken to this fact of life, you can consciously begin moving with the unique flow of your life, riding the wave that’s rolling in just for you; or you can continue trying to make your own waves, in the same old fashion, and continue getting the same old results.”
So perhaps the better way to deal with change is to embrace it.
It is a well known fact that HUMANS are RESISTANT to CHANGE. But the point is when we know that it is inevitable then why do we try too hard to resist it? Instead we should try and learn to live the change. Enjoy the change when something good is taking place and when things change for worse we should learn to handle it, learn to take charge of situations and continuously strive to improve it, try and try until and unless we succeed, because in reality life isn’t a fairy tale at all. Infact, this adds a different kind of thrill to life. To be always on your toes to face life as it comes.
Change also often lets you to re-evaluate your life. It gives you a broader perspective about life and its issues. It often changes the way we see at certain things, this in turn also helps us to improve certain areas of our life. Infact, learning to accept change and face them makes us stronger day by day.
As I now conclude this small piece of write-up, I would mention that change happens and we should learn to deal with it. After all it adds a certain kind of spice to our otherwise dull and boring life. And more over, as someone rightly said, if there are no changes there won’t be any butterflies either.
